The "flying center of gravity" design is closer to PING's ideal center of gravity line, making the MAX even more stable and farther away. "New Carbon Fly Wrap Technology" relocates the excess weight of the crown to the bottom of the head, achieving an even lower center of gravity. The newly designed "free hosel design" reduces the weight around the hosel, making it the lowest center of gravity design in PING history, enabling a high trajectory and low spin flight.
The face is about 4% thinner at the center and about 7% thinner at the periphery than the previous model, contributing to improved flight distance. The excess weight is distributed to the high-density back weight, achieving a high MOI and stable flight.
The new head shape makes it easier to set up and swing, and the new MAX driver has evolved to have a comfortable sound and feel when hitting.
